Title: Business Training / Consultancy Associates
Background / Role / Purpose:
Our Associates form a vital aspect of our business and we treat our relationship with them very seriously. Most of our Associates have worked with us for many years, several work with us exclusively and some have formally joined the Company.
Our most senior Associates have worked with us to develop a Quality Assurance system unique to Optimum Results Ltd which includes the Suppliers Review section of our ISO9001: 2000 standard. This system provides us with QAA, Quality Approved Associate.
As we reposition our business for growth, we are currently accepting applications from dynamic, ambitious trainers to work with us on a contract basis. A positive “Can Do” attitude is a distinct advantage! We provide training and coaching for our trainers as well as on going mentoring.
Reporting to: Relevant Project Manager
Personal Requirements:
- Have an appropriate 3rd/4th level qualification- Specialised training qualification distinct advantage.
- Have industry/business experience at Management level
- Have training/consultancy experience and ideally a formal qualification in training and/or people and/or organisational development
- Have excellent communication skills, enthusiasm and motivation for the business of Business Development
- Be organised, disciplined and professional in the execution of your duties
Business Areas:
Management Skills Development All aspects, various levels, from Micro Business Start Ups through SMEs through all levels of Management of large organisation and "Corporates"
Strategic Business Planning and Project Planning including the facilitation of Plan implementation.
Marketing several aspects, including Domestic, Retail, Export, Sales Training (Field & Retail), Customer Care, Strategic Planning, etc.
People Management & Development - All aspects and all levels of HRM/D including Soft Skills development, HR Strategic Planning & Implementation, "Excellence Through People" and "Investors in People" Standard programmes, Change Management and Organisational Development programmes.
Market Research, Consumer Research, Mystery Shopping Satisfaction / Climate Surveys, etc. (Also see www.customerperceptions.ie)
Technology/Internet based Training & Development.
Other related disciplines that link to the above such as Innovation & Creativity, Finance, Management Information Systems, and Industry / Business Sector Specific Skills that compliment the functions listed above.
Life Science background - experienced with pharma, biotech and medical/healthcare business models.
Salary: Subcontractor/Associate contract basis.
