Silver Lining

Programme Aim
Silver Lining” is a Training Programme specifically designed to assist people who have become (or who are about to become) Redundant to start their own business.

On completion of this 3 Day Programme Participants will be able to:

• Analyse their ‘Personal Makeup’, strengths, skills, knowledge, likes and interests and
clearly know the business type that suits them best.

• Analyse and Compare potential Business Ideas in terms of (i) How the idea suits the
individual and (ii) Their Commercial Value of the project

• Define a clear Course of Action for the venture and the services of the Support
Agencies

• Understand the basics of what is required of them Legally

• Understand the Structure and Benefits of an effective Business Plan

• Define the Research they will need to complete and the immediate Personal Study they need to complete

• Understand the ‘Nature, Challenges and Delights’ of owning and managing both ‘self’ and their own business.

Participants may need to subsequently attend specific Training such as Marketing & Sales, Management & Strategy, People Recruitment & Development, Finance & Management Information, Operations & Innovation and so forth but will now do so with clarity of purpose and motivation
